Allah S.W.T. says: "O though people, eat from whatever is on earth, lawful and good. And do not follow the footsteps of Satan (Syaitan) because surely he is an open enemy for you." (Surah al-Baqarah 2:168)
Word of Allah S.W.T. again, meaning: "O you who believe, eat of the good things we have provided you, and render thanks to Allah if it is Him ye worship." (Surah al-Baraqah 2:172)

- Buying and selling of alcohol related
- Buying and selling of illegal animal consumption
- Buying and selling of stool
- Sell involved with laptop purchase
- Get Rich Quick Schemes
- Steal other people copyrights
- Hoarding. This act or monopoly property called ihtikar general requirements such as rice, oil, sugar. It's a speculative action, which aims to get good profits when prices soared. When users are in dire need of the product, with the aim of hiding the higher the prices go up.
2) Products or services of poor quality
Islam highly emphasizes quality of life aspects. God S.W.T. says, meaning: "He who created death and life to test which of you, which of you is best in deeds." (Surah al-Mukl 67:2)
Products or services that are low quality or not directly affect the development of society in terms of mental, moral and health. The new generation will face many problems, including our children later. We do not want people who are sick from all angles. The problem of food poisoning, cancer and so on due to poor quality materials. Customer complaints should be addressed to the success of the product. Legal action will be brought in case this happens and this will not benefit the entrepreneur himself.
3) Involved with Alcohol and Gambling
Muslim entrepreneurs should ensure that their enterprises do not engage in or support either directly or indirectly, with any wine drinking and gambling activities.
Word of Allah S.W.T. which means: "They ask you (O Muhammad) about alcohol and gambling. Say: 'In both is great sin, and some profit, for men, but the sin of both is greater than the benefits.' "(Surah al-Baqarah 2:219)
Among the banned items including the use of components to be banned from wine sources to produce a lawful product, abetting or supporting activities gambling activities.
Allah S.W.T. says, meaning: "O ye who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, idolatry and witchcraft, fortune is an abomination to the act of the devil." (Surat al-Ma'idah 5:90)
4) Ignoring critical active customers
As an entrepreneur, we must understand that a passive but critical community. Critical here means able to evaluate and criticize something. With the availability of consumer organizations which have the goal of keeping the rights of consumers by providing complete explanations and facts, we should be careful in removing the product to prevent losses due to consumers refuse to buy our products.
5) Breach of contract agreed
Islam rejects the principle of having betrayed the contract agreed with the other party.
Allah S.W.T. says, meaning: "Complete the Promise of Allah when ye have covenanted, and not you, after the signing of the promise, when ye have made Allah guarantees you (Sura al-Nahl 16:91)
Word of Allah S.W.T. another says: "O you who believe fulfill all your promise." (Surat al-Ma'idah 5:1)
6) Contract Details Unclear
Contracts that are not obviously caused injustice to the other. This will lead to hostility between the parties involved. By reason of want a stable society, Islam emphasizes that a contract was made with clear conditions and rules.
A contract is valid if it satisfies the following:
- Perfect principles and conditions
- Not contain forbidden if the Shariah
Matters relating to the contract described in below:
- Pillar contract
- Seller
- Buyers
- The goods
- Price
- Duration
2. Contracts are not valid in Islam
- Not clear sellers or buyers.
- Items which banned the sale and purchase
- Project for illegal or immoral
- Price is not clear
- Engage corruption
- To involve interest (riba)
- There is an element of fraud
3. Conditions of the contract
- Both parties are of full age and sound mind. Children under the age can be represented by a parent or guardian
- Seller or buyer is a person barred from managing muamalat (for example, a bankrupt)
- Not to be compelled by any party
- Understand clearly the contents of the contract so as not to give rise to doubts and disputes
- Other conditions as long as they are not inconsistent with Islamic law
7) Ignoring Basic Worship in Islam
Entrepreneurship is one of Islamic worship. Kifayah obligatory rule and given the reward of Allah S.W.T. however when the pursuance of his worship we do not leave the basic religious duties required in Islam.
Allah S.W.T. said, meaning "Religion is committed by powerful people who do not let their faith business or buy and sell the remembrance of Allah and establish prayer and give alms. They fear a Day of Judgment which the hearts and views." (Surah al-Nur 24:37)
Among the foundation of worship to be considered are:
- Prayer
- Produce business zakat
8) Unfair price
Merchants and entrepreneurs should set a reasonable price, reasonable and fair to particular goods or services to the buyer. Prices must reflect the normal interaction between demand and supply. It is not caused by an intentionally created as state monopoly or a few operators or buyers who combine to increase the price or because of speculation.
Unfair prices will cause people who can not afford not to own their needs. This will also cause inflation and affect the competitiveness of local goods. Raise prices without reasonable cause merely want to increase profits will gave an negative effect on long-term sales items.
Prophet (Nabi Muhammad) s.a.w. stigmatize this group by saying he, meaning: "People who do given things, while people who do monopoly or no competition in pairs, high demand, the buyer or buyer desperation in trouble.
Purchasing power are located in the hands of the buyer. Do not buy stuff that you think is unfair or unreasonable price. For a major or high-priced items, compare prices of equivalent goods at several stores before deciding to purchase the most appropriate place. You also need to remember that not all the cheap goods of poor quality. On the other hand, not all expensive items of high quality.
